A military statement said coalition forces killed 10 terrorists early Wednesday in al-Anbar province west of Baghdad and the northern city of Mosul. The statement said nine suspects were detained in operations targeting al-Qaida in Iraq. The U.S. military also said today that coalition forces killed 25 terrorists and detained five suspects during a three-day operation ending Monday northeast of Baquba. The operation targeted al-Qaida and was in support of a major offensive called Arrowhead Ripper in the region around Baquba.
