South Carolina: Republicans Narrowly Win Election to Fill Mick Mulvaney's Seat

Meanwhile, in South Carolina, Republicans pulled off another victory in
the special election to fill the seat left vacant by Director of the
Office of Management and Budget Mick Mulvaney. Republican Ralph Norman
eked a narrow victory over Democratic challenger Archie Parnell. Norman
won only 51 percent of the vote — a smaller margin than expected.
