Geithner: Admin Could Scrap Repeal of Tax Deductions for Wealthy

Obama, meanwhile, is facing opposition from members of his own party on
a plan to reduce tax deductions for wealthy Americans. The plan would
save around $318 billion over ten years. Under questioning from Senate
Finance Committee Chair Max Baucus Wednesday, Treasury Secretary Timothy
Geithner said the Obama administration would consider dropping the
proposal.
