At Least 140 Killed in China Clashes
------------------------------------

In China, at least 140 people have been killed and more than 800 wounded
in the western Xinjiang region. On Sunday, hundreds of protesters
clashed with police at a rally demanding justice for the killing of two
Uighur workers at southern Chinese factory last month. The Chinese
government says a group of exiled Uighurs caused the unrest, but
protesters accused the police of cracking down on a peaceful gathering.
