indexed search server
---------------------

An indexed search server is a special process separate from the Gopher
server that acts like a search engine. You enter parameters to it and it
returns results, usually a list of documents.

Indexed search servers are useful, but many of the things they do can
be done equivalently and sometimes more effectively with moles in Bucktooth.
In fact, indexed search servers are simulated with moles in Bucktooth.
On the other hand, they are the only method of acquiring arbitrary user
information like search keywords.
