This is the second alpha release of BeB. BeB is a backup program for the BeOS. It currently only supports backing up to a single, long file. Future versions will include support for backing up to devices, (backups can span disks), and to tape. This version backs up files, symlinks, directories and their attributes. BeB is unique in that it uses BeOS file system queries to select the files to backup.

This is a free alpha release. It wil stop backing up after December 31st, 1998, but it will contiue to
restore after December 31st, 1998.
