File: hairy.zip Author: Pascal Goguey (pascal@sakura.email.ne.jp) Release: 0.3.0.1 November3rd, 1998 Compatibility: R3.2 Location: productivity/misc Description: <Added stuff> This version almost only fixes the documentation. I have setup a demo using the AddressBook file, but I forgot to include the username and password for this file. I have also added the new tutorial. </Added stuff> This is a database software. It lets you edit an interface and store data. Its most original characteristic is that it accepts data from messages. I have written a quick & dirty application to stuff the database. Installation: Nothing special to be done. Put it anywhere and double-click to run. It can also run from a terminal, and by drag & drop. An original use: 1. Run LetItBe and open AddressBook (the red apple). 2. Launch DataStuff. 3. Enter data in DataStuff's fields, and send them to the database. The data will be stored in the addressbook. Note: I have not tested the case of different field numbers and I wouldn't recommend it... The Intel version: I will also compile a version for Intel, but it would be meaningless to do it on 3.2 since the exec code will change in a few weeks. There will be an Intel version as soon as I get R4. Edition and data storage All the rest is quite intuitive. Please be aware that it is a very early release and that it has certainly many bugs. I did not have time to fully test the passwords. They will be enhanced (and encrypted) in a later release. The program will be also multiuser. For bug reports: please report them to me at the following address: pascal@sakura.email.ne.jp. I guess it's all. Have fun, and report me any bug, giv me any advice. Thanks! Pascal
