SYSTEM OPERATOR MODE O selects from [1,2]

Operator mode allows system operators to attach, detach, kill, and force
input to jobs. The O command toggles operator mode on and off. You must
be logged into [1,2] and in the job display screen in order to use operator
mode.

While in operator mode, a reverse video job cursor marks the job currently
selected. The up and down arrows move the job cursor. When your cursor is
on the job you wish to operate on, you may enter any of the system operator
commands below. None of these commands may be used against the job that is
running USTAT.

A - to attach the job to another terminal
D - to detach the job from the terminal currently attached to it
F - to force input to the job
K - to kill the job

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
LOG ALERT & PROG ALERT

LOG ALERT and PROG ALERT are enabled by the L and P commands while in the
job display screen. LOG ALERT beeps whenever a user's log account changes.
PROG ALERT beeps whenever a user's program name changes. Both may be
enabled at the same time.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
COMPATIBILITY

USTAT makes use of certain job information that was added to release 1.3B of
AMOS/L. Consequently, it will not work with earlier releases of AMOS/L. All
versions of AMOS/L from 1.3B on are fine. All versions of AMOS/32 are fine.
