If you find them all, you get a new trophy! Florana Titanium Bolts: 2 Titanium Bolt #1 The first titanium bolt you'll find is in the first large building you face when starting the level. The building in question is where you first encounter a ladder. When you make your way to the top of the building, there will be a platform outside that you will use to glide down to the platform in the water below leading to the second large building. Below this platform is where the titanium bolt is hidden. You can jump off the edge and glide back "under" or you can jump to the platform you see below, turn around, and climb up the ladders into the room containing the bolt. Titanium Bolt #2 The second Titanium Bolt is located inside the fiery Path of Death. Around the third bend, just after the rolling rocks, you will come to another series of platforms. Your first jump (from the bend) will be to a normal rock platform. Jump to that rock platform and look to your - right-. You should be looking over the lava river. You should see a dome room with the titanium bolt shining brightly inside. Double jump to the ledge and get your bolt. Starship Pheonix Titanium Bolts: 7 Titanium Bolt #1 Go to the VR room and complete all of the initial challenges. The last one should be called "Nerves of Titanium". Complete this challenge and you'll receive a titanium bolt. Titanium Bolt #2 Once you get Quark Vid-Comic #1, go to the VG9000 and play the Vid- Comic. While playing, find all 100 Quark icons, and when you collect the 100th one, the titanium bolt will be yours! Titanium Bolt #3 Once you get Quark Vid-Comic #2, go to the VG9000 and play the Vid- Comic. While playing, find all 100 Quark icons, and when you collect the 100th one, the titanium bolt will be yours! This level is a bit trickier however - two things to keep an eye out for are dark surfaces you can wall jump off of and breakable dark gray brick walls. A few of the icons are hidden pretty well. Titanium Bolt #4 Once you get Quark Vid-Comic #3, go to the VG9000 and play the Vid- Comic. While playing, find all 100 Quark icons, and when you collect the 100th one, the titanium bolt will be yours! There are a few tricky icons. One is above the door that opens after the bomb-dropping enemies, another will need a wall jump to be reached, yet another is down a yellow ladder by small fire pits and a few are obscured behind a large pipe. They're in a hallway before the platforms with fire circling them. Jump around that area to find a few icons. Titanium Bolt #5 Once you get Quark Vid-Comic #4, go to the VG9000 and play the Vid- Comic. While playing, find all 100 Quark icons, and when you collect the 100th one, the titanium bolt will be yours! Finding all 100 icons is once again, tricky. A few of the icons worth 10 icons are hidden well. Remember to jump off random walls just to see higher as there are a few ledges just out of sight. Also, when you get to the taxi, before you ride it, go below it and to the right. Fall over the edge to an area you can't see - you'll find one there. Titanium Bolt #6 Once you get Quark Vid-Comic #5, go to the VG9000 and play the Vid- Comic. While playing, find all 100 Quark icons, and when you collect the 100th one, the titanium bolt will be yours! This level is actually pretty easy in terms of finding the icons. Just keep an eye out, particularly near the vertical platforming sections (as there is a split hidden path on one) and you should easily find all 100 icons. Titanium Bolt #7 To get this titanium bolt, you must complete Tyhrranosis first. Once back on the Phoenix, you'll find out there is a new VR course Helga put together. The course is called VR Gadget Training. Simply complete the course and you'll receive another titanium bolt. You'll also receive the Hypershot and Hacker gadgets which you'll need to get a few titanium bolts you couldn't previously reach. Marcadia Titanium Bolts: 3 Titanium Bolt #1 Near the beginning of the level, you will come across a pool of water with stairs on each side of the pool going up. These stairs lead to a large open area. Once there, turn right and follow the walls until you see an alleyway with a wall jump surface. Wall jump up, go down the hallway, and the titanium bolt is yours! Note: The alleyway in question is easily visible on the bottom right corner of your map. Titanium bolt #2 To get this titanium bolt, you will need the Gravity Boots. Once back on Marcadia, return to the Laser Defense Facility. Towards the end, just before the teleport pad to return to your ship, there is a Gravity Boot surface. The titanium bolt is floating near the ceiling. Walk up and grab it. Titanium bolt #3 To get this titanium bolt, you will need the Gravity Boots. Once back on Marcadia, return to the Laser Defense Facility. Proceed to the laser activated bridge that chimes and sways when you walk on it. Go into the room after the bridge. On your right is a Red Door - that's what we're going to open. Also note the Gravity Boot surface next to it. Now, proceed to the next room (where the laser is split), and then into the room after that. When you walk into that room, look to your left - you should see a Gravity Boot surface. You should also see a laser above you. Walk up the Gravity Boot surface and redirect that laser into the hole. Now return to the room with the Red Door, walk up the Gravity Boot surface, and redirect the laser into the small opening across the room near where the laser comes in. The Red Door is now open giving you access to another titanium bolt. Annihilation Nation Titanium Bolts: 2 Titanium Bolt #1 On the course "Heat Street", proceed to the first room. There you'll step on the switch and the arrow will send you to the left. Go left and you'll come across a zig-zag platform section. If you look past the platforms and up on the rock outcrop behind it, you should see the titanium bolt. Cross the platforms (be careful of the green lasers) then high jump up to the rock outcrop ledge and grab your titanium bolt. Titanium Bolt #2 First you'll need to open the "Maze of Blaze" course. It's available after you complete the "Meat Courtney" gauntlet (you receive Vid-Comic #3 from her) which itself won't open until you complete Daxx. Start the course and make your way to the second switch room - it will send you Right. Just past the door that opens is a bridge - on each side of the bridge are bots that will shoot at you. Kill them both and then hop onto the platform on the left (located north on the map). You should see the titanium bolt on a floating platform. Stretch jump to the platform to get the titanium bolt. Aquatos Titanium Bolts: 5 Titanium Bolt #1 After the first underwater swimming section, you'll get out of the water and hit the switch that lets Skidd in to continue helping you. He'll hack the bridge in the next room so you can cross it. Instead of crossing the bridge, jump down below it and walk to the end of the room. There you'll find a Titanium Bolt. Titanium Bolt #2 Eventually you'll come across the second underwater swimming section. Jump into the water and dive straight down a bit. Now, look around. Turn a full 360 and you should see the Titanium Bolt in a small underwater alcove near you. If you swim into the tunnel filled with mines, you've gone too far. Titanium Bolt #3 To get this Titanium Bolt, you will need the Hacker. Once you have the Hacker, return to Aquatos. From the start, take the tram that leads down (located west on the map). Pass the goo area with the Gadgetron, go into the next room and jump up to the ledge that leads to the yellow room with the bridge. The next room will have a Hacker station. Hack it and take the tram to the room containing the Titanium Bolt. Titanium Bolt #4 To get this Titanium Bolt, you will need the Gravity Boots. Return to Aquatos with the boots and warp back to the Sewers. Once in the sewers, you need to make your way to the UPPER sewer section and then to the main canal that runs down the center of the sewers. There are three levels of bridges. Low, mid, and high. You need to work your way to the highest set. Once up there, lookaround. Do you see Hypershot targets? If not, either warp (if a pad is there) or walk to another bridge. Once you find the Hypershot targets, swing across and in the middle of the sequence, a Titanium Bolt will be floating. Grab it! Titanium Bolt #5 To get this Titanium Bolt, you will need the Gravity Boots. Return to Aquatos with the boots and warp back to the Sewers. Go to the UPPER sewer section. In particular, we want to go to the northern sewer sections (northern set on your map). Now, look on your map again; on the top of your map, you should see a long tunnel that connects the left and right side of the upper sewers. In the middle of that tunnel, you will find the Titanium Bolt. Tyhrranosis Titanium Bolts: 2 Titanium Bolt #1 When you get to the Turbo Slider mission, hop in the Turbo Slider and jump the bridge. Take the road that leads right (on your map, it’s the road that goes to the right) and you'll get to a bridge that leads to a building. Behind that building is a Titanium Bolt. Titanium Bolt #2 To get this Titanium Bolt, you will need the Hypershot. To get the Hypershot, you will need to complete Tyhrranosis and then the new VR Gadget Training course on the Phoenix first. Once you have the Hypershot, return to Tyhrranosis, get in the Turbo Slider and jump the bridge. This time, take the road that goes left (on your map, it's the road that goes to the left) - it will lead to a green cave. Go into the cave on foot, climb the first set of platforms and keep your eyes peeled for a Hypershot grapple target. Swing across the gap to the alcove you see, round the corner and the Titanium Bolt is yours. Daxx Titanium Bolts: 2 Titanium Bolt #1 After you get to the Harbor Station and watch the Courtney Gears music video, a door will open that leads to a Taxi that takes you back to your ship. On the platform leading to the Taxi, look to the right, over the water and you should see a Hypershot target. Make your way to the end of this Hypershot sequence where you'll find the Titanium Bolt. Titanium Bolt #2 To get this Titanium Bolt, you will need the Charge Boots. The boots are on Daxx in a small section behind your ship (look on your map). Complete it and the Charge Boots are yours. Now, open your map. On the lower left corner, in the main fortress, you will see a circular room. That's where we're headed. Once there, note that on one side of the room is a door you can't open. Go into the next room and in an alcove at the end of the room, there is a switch. You'll need to jump up to the alcove, activate the switch and use your Charge Boots to make it through the door in the circular room before it closes. Once through, make your way to the end of the section and you'll find the Titanium Bolt. Obani Gemini Titanium Bolts: 2 Titanium Bolt #1 To get this Titanium bolt, you should have the Charge Boots. This Titanium Bolt is on the first moon where you redirect the laser beams. Go down to the lowest floor of the moon (where the lava is). Search the moon until you find a green Hypershot switch. Before you activate it, search the area right around it for a tunnel. Through that tunnel and straight across the lava pool after it is the Titanium Bolt behind a force field. Trigger the switch, run through the tunnel, across the lava and into the alcove containing the Titanium Bolt. Using the Charge Boots makes getting to the alcove in time much easier. Titanium Bolt #2 This Titanium Bolt is on the second moon, Pollux. Warp to Pollux from the pad by your ship on the previous moon. From the direction you face when you warp in, go left - you will cross a small bridge. Continue straight across the bridge and over the landscape and you will see a launch pad. Use the launch pad and you should see the Titanium Bolt on a rocky platform. Land on the platform and the Titanium Bolt is yours. Holostar Studios Titanium Bolts: 3 Titanium Bolt #1 The first titanium bolt is easy... simply continue along the normal level path until you come to a theater type room with green chairs. Look up one of the balconies filled with green chairs and you will see the titanium bolt at the top. Jump up the balconies and grab the first Titanium Bolt. Titanium Bolt #2 To get this titanium bolt, you will need the Gravity Boots. You will get the Gravity Boots once you complete Blackwater City. Once you have the boots, return to Holostar Studios. In the small area where your ship and the Gadgetron is, look around at the walls - you will see a Gravity Boot surface. Walk up the wall and into the large room. Once in there, make your way down to the large hole and walk down into it. At the bottom you will see two spiraling walkways. Walk across the one on the bottom and when you reach the room on the other side, look up. You will see a Gravity Boot surface that goes straight up, turns right, and then goes up again into a small opening. Walk up the surface, jumping over the braces. Once in the room, walk up the center pillar while avoiding the falling enemies. On top of the pillar is a Titanium Bolt. Titanium Bolt #3 To get this titanium bolt, you will need the Gravity Boots. You will get the Gravity Boots once you complete Blackwater City. In the area where your ship is, once again walk up the Gravity Boot surface and go back into the large room. Make your way down into the hole again and you'll come across the 2 spiraling walkways. We'll call the lower, easy to cross path "walkway 1" and the path that starts on the ceiling, "walkway 2". You need to jump from walkway 1 to walkway 2. To do this, walk down walkway 1 until you are at a high point and walkway 2 is below you. Jump or walk off the edge, then glide down onto walkway 2. It's tricky. Once on walkway 2, walk the path and it will curve up and into a small alcove in the room where the Gravity Boot path to Titanium Bolt #2 was. Zeldrin Starport Titanium Bolts: 2 Titanium Bolt #1 Near the beginning of the level, you will go into a large room with 2 red spaceships on the sides. You'll need to jump up a few ledges to reach the top of the room. Once at the top, destroy everything but do not use the Hypershot target yet!! In an alcove on the right side of the room (north side on your map), you will find the Titanium Bolt. This one is easy to find... so easy, you might pass it, so watch out. Titanium Bolt #2 This one can be found just after the first one. Complete the short Hypershot sequence and you will end up in a large room with spinning gears on the sides. On the sides of the room, about halfway up, are platforms. Use the large indestructible crates to climb up to the ledge on one side. You will need to long jump to the platform on the other side of the room. The Titanium Bolt is in the small alcove. Metropolis Titanium Bolts: 3 Titanium Bolt #1 From your ship, go into the first building and immediately turn LEFT. Break the large window, hop up and you'll notice a new building you can jump to. Jump across, swing across the Hypershot target, and grab the Titanium Bolt. ***NOTE: Just before you swing across, up on one of the window sills (break the glass) you'll find the teleporter pad that leads to the Insomniac Museum. The teleport pad only activates between 3-4am. Set your PS2 internal clock to 3:00am, or wait until 3-4am to get in. Titanium Bolt #2 Continue through the level until you come to the glass dome hallway. It's the part where enemies (1 or 2) dropped through the ceiling. Just after that hallway, you'll walk outside. On your left is a small gap you need to jump (which leads to the Gravity Boot surface) - however, instead of going left, turn right and look at the side of the building you are on. You should see a small rectangular platform, and then another that wraps the building corner. Jump across and go around the corner. Jump up again and grab the Titanium Bolt. Titanium Bolt #3 This Titanium Bolt is hidden in the Battle Missions. Choose the mission Tower Attack (if you've already completed the missions, it makes getting the bolt easier). Now, there are 4 towers, which are large buildings. Two are blue, and two are brown. The titanium bolt is behind one of the brown buildings. Look for a bridge that connects to the building. Where it connects, you will see a blue Gravity Boot-looking surface. Half way up that surface is the Titanium Bolt. Fly your Hovership into it, and it's yours. Crash Site Titanium Bolts: 1 Titanium Bolt #1 This is probably the easiest Titanium Bolt to find in the game! On the platform your ship is on, look around for a Gravity Boot surface leading over the edge. Hop on and the bolt is along the path, in plain view! Alternatively, if you return to your ship via the Gravity Boot surface from the ground below, you'll have to run across it near the end of the path. Aridia Titanium Bolts: 2 Titanium Bolt #1 You can get this Titanium Bolt at any time during Battle Missions 3, 4 and 5. It's easiest to get on mission 5 as there are no enemies in the open area (they retreat into the tunnel). Ok, start one of the missions above. In the large open area, where the Hovership, Assassination and Turret missions took place, you'll need to make your way to the main large bridge connecting the lower two areas. This is the large bridge near the bottom of your map. The Titanium Bolt is UNDER the bridge. Walk to any side of the bridge and you'll notice Gravity Boot surfaces. Hop on and walk to the Titanium Bolt! ***NOTE: You cannot grab the Titanium Bolt in your Hovership; it's just out of reach. Titanium Bolt #2 You can only get this Titanium Bolt during the "X12 Endgame" battle mission. Play the mission normally and when you make it to the turrets, as you exit the tunnels towards them, turn RIGHT and go around the corner. You will find a Gravity Boot surface. Walk up, and then jump across the rocky platforms that lead you behind the turret base. There you will find another Titanium Bolt. Qwark’s Hideout Titanium Bolts: 1 Titanium Bolt #1 From your ship, go into the caverns on the right. Do not proceed over themoving platform on the left - that's the main path. Go into the caverns, walk down into the Gravity Boot funnel and when you come out of it, you will be faced with 2 laser sets you need to jump. Jump the first, then the second (which is shaped like an X). Just after you jump the second, the path will turn left. Before turning left, look over the edge into the icy water. You should see the titanium bolt on a small platform. From a ledge above or from the Gravity Boot surface above (walk off the edge), glide down onto the small platform and grab the Titanium Bolt. Koros Titanium Bolts: 2 Titanium Bolt #1 Play through the level and you will come to a point where you will need to jump up a number of stacked, black metallic crates. Before you do so, note the two cylindrical buildings on each side of the crates. We want to get up and onto the one on the left (if facing the crates) so we can jump over the large metal fence. Jump up the crates, turn around and glide to the platform on the building. If you haven't got the trophy yet, the trophy is inside the building you're on. Grab it! Ok, now from the platform, jump and glide OVER the large metal fence. The Titanium Bolt is on the ground. Grab it and use the metallic crates to get back over the fence. Titanium Bolt #2 Play through the level and you will come to a point where you will need to jump up a number of stacked, black metallic crates. Jump up the crates and enter the next section where you'll see a few buildings and a large blue gate at the far end. The titanium bolt is located at the top of one of the buildings on the left side. Go behind the buildings and look for a ladder. Climb up to the top and grab the Titanium Bolt! Mylon Titanium Bolts: 1 Titanium Bolt #1 Play through the level until you need to use your Tyhrraguise for the first time. Talk to the Tyhrranoid and he will let you use the elevator. At the top of the elevator, IMMEDIATELY turn left and look down over the edge. You will see the Titanium Bolt. Drop down and grab it. 4c.
