1. NOTES ABOUT THE BOSSES
***
Each boss has a predetermined path of movement and places where it will stop to
shoot. Because of this, it is possible to pick out a spot or a set of spots to
move to and from so you can shoot while avoiding being shot. This guide will
help you pick out these places, and kill the bosses easily.

One important thing to remember is the boss at the end of a set of levels is
determined by the theme of them. Depending on which character you’re playing
as, you’ll play the different themes at different times. Because of this, the
boss you face last may actually be the easiest of the five, and vice versa.

There is one flaw with my strategies: As I said, the order you fight the bosses
differs with each character, but the set up of the levels don’t. So if you play
with a different character, there may be some obstacles to pulling these
tactics off.

2. THE BOSSES
***

A. Fish

The game screen can be seen as a grid, because of the blocks that you place.
The boss’ health bar is like this too. Climb up until you’re overlapping the
second (or third, either works) block of the health bar from the left. Now stay
up there and shoot. Occasionally, the boss will come right up next to you. If
you’re in the third block of the bar, move back a little so he doesn’t shoot
you.

B. Domehead

Position yourself right under the leftmost block of the health bar. Unless
there is something blocking your shots, you’ll be able to shoot, while
remaining completely safe.

C. Sun

Set up a path that’ll take you to the upper-right corner. This’ll work a lot
better if you don’t need to break any blocks to get through it each time. Take
the path. The sun will fly into the upper-middle part of the screen. When he
does this, shoot. After this, he’ll fly towards you. This is when you drop to
the floor and hide directly under you’re previous position. He’ll move down,
then over, going right past you. Come out of hiding and fire. He’ll move back
up into the upper-middle part of the screen. Move back into the corner, and
start the process over again.

Alternate, method: Go into the upper right corner, and position yourself two
spaces under the second block of the score, coming from the right. Sit there
and shoot. When the sun comes towards your corner, move up against the wall and
down at least one space. Hide there until he moves away. Repeat the process
over.

D. Snowman

Go up against the right wall and sit with two blocks between you and the score
shown at the top of the screen. There you have it, you’re safe.

E. Plant

Place a block in the bottom-left corner, then make three more blocks leading up
in a staircase. Stand on the top box and shoot. There are two times when you
must leave your post. The plant will come towards you and will kill you if you
don’t move down. He’ll pull back a bit, and then you jump up to the last box in
the staircase and fire two quick shots. A second after, drop down onto the
second block, destroy the third, and slip through the opening. After he fires,
destroy the second block, jump to the first, and rebuild the second and third.
Move back to the fourth and start over.

3. GENERAL TIPS
***

1. Always take care of the other enemies early. Don’t run right into the boss’
path so that you have a shot at the smaller dangers, but do get rid of them.

2. This is really kind of the reverse of the last tip. Don’t bother with the
money around the room. You can collect it after everyone else is dead.
