Story
[Ciel and Pashy look up at the ZERO door in the background]

The outbreak of the SIGMA Virus, which drove Repliroids into an insane frenzy,
caused the long-lasting "Irregular Wars". The battle that was thought to be
everlasting was finally put to an end due to the actions of the lone hero,
"Rockman X", and the world began to walk on the long path to revival.

As an aim towards the utopia where humans can live happily, the city of "Neo
Arcadia" was built as the center of the rebirth. The people were finally
learning how to smile again. But, for the Repliroids, this world was hell.
The government feared the Repliroids would become Irregular, and for unjust
reasons that became more and more commonplace, the Repliroids are punished by
disposal one after another.

Luckily, the Repliroids who have escaped punishment have hid in the
half-collapsed ruins of the old city, where the small ammount of energy still
remaining there has kept them alive. They live together with a young former
scientist, "Ciel". She participated in the exploitation of the Repliroids
because of the government, but could not shoot those to be punished and tried
to cover the stigma of Irregularity.

The demonic hand of the government finally approaches even those who have lived
quiet lives. The Repliroids are cornered. At this rate, everyone will die.
Ciel remembers the name of the Legendary Repliroid "Zero", who even now sleeps
in a certain place...

If the Legend is true... perhaps....

Character Introductions

ZERO (Zero)
[Zero poses with his saber]
Main character of the game. Found by Ciel, the Legendary Repliroid awakens
from his 100-year sleep. At one time, he was an Irregular Hunter who
protected the peace, but now he has lost his memory.

SHIERU (Ciel)
[A side view of Ciel]
Because of her superior talent as a scientist, there are no alternate ideas
concerning a new energy source for everyday life. She lives in the ruins
with the Repliroids who have been targeted for destruction.
