The file PQ2SND.CMD gives a map from the filenames on the tape to the
filenames that must be used on the Perq. This file may easily be
edited using eg. the Pepper editor (or any other editor with a
keyboard macro facility) to create a command file renaming the files
once they are on the Perq.

The file PQ2MAK.CMD compiles and installs all the source modules that
are delivered with Perq, and installs 'Kermit' on sys:Boot>. For
instructions on how to create your own version of Kermit-Perq, also
read the commented header of this file.

Several other *.CMD files are 'take' files for Kermit-Perq, setting it
up to be able to talk to a micro, an ND computer, a VAX/VMS computer
etc. Some special conversions have been implemented for ND filenames,
since Kermit-ND does not accept "."'s inside filenames.

Good luck!
