Hello Gophers!

It's been a while since I have written a phlog. I just seem to have no time or
inclination to do so. Work is very heavy at the moment with a major project
being very late and quite a challenge. I just do not like talking to irritated
customers when we are really trying to build something awesome for them. This
makes that I sleep less well, and my first thought when I wake up in the morning
is about the project. Ugh....

But, okay, I still need to learn that work is work, and home is home. I mean
that it is not a good idea to think too much about work at home. A person really
needs some time off to rest and have an actual family life.

The chorded keyboard project is nicely humming along, albeit that the progress
is slow. It is good that the project is only for myself, and that there is no
pressure on it. The hardware is done, which means that the 3D printed enclosure
is now complete, and the soldering needed is also done. I have hooked up the LCD
and the 9 keys (2 rows of finger keys, and one thumb key on top) and it all
seems to work. I am now slowly progressing in the software area. I have made a
keymap and am slowly implementing the functions needed. In time I will put a
picture or two here for all to see. I also will publish the files for the 3D
printing and the software, so that anyone who is interested can use it for their
own benefits.

Technical church activities have died down a bit. The OBS broadcting system we
built is in full use now, and does not give us many headaches luckily.
We are now looking to do a sunday service from the local football field again
coming August. It's quite the challenge to broadcast from an open football field
but it's good clean fun. Having a service out in the open air is very nice.

I should phlog more I think. It gives me a place to vent. Even when no-one in
the whole world would ever read this, it still would have it's function. Food
for thought...

Anyway, have a grand weekend!

Cheers,

Fripster
