I encountered catsup during a trip to Cuba ~15 years ago, and it definitely 
wasn't ketchup as I know it. Savory and with some olive flavor to it IIRC, not 
so sweet and vinegary as I'm used to.

(I think "catsup" is just an alternate spelling and different regions have 
their own interpretation of the sauce. In the Phillipines, apparently banana 
ketchup is quite popular.)
