This is the best way to go about it, pick your main board which you feel will 
not be going anywhere and any others make them Points, This board is my main 
board, it has been running since 2018, I have had a Synchronet, Enigma and 
C-Net Amiga boards running at different times (The C-net still runs) and they 
were all points off of this board.  Like Vorlon said, it takes away from having 
to get Avon to add another board to the nodelist and remove it if you take it 
down..
