`Photochromic` [Thread]

I was very young playing catch by myself in the back yard. There was a
section of the yard that backed onto a road. At some point the ball got
away from me and rolled onto the road. A red car stops and a man gets
out of the car, retrieves the ball, and holds it out for me to come and
grab. Just as I am about to reach the man he suddenly turns, gets back
in his car and leaves. I turn around to see that my father had just come
outside. Found out a few weeks later a young kid had been kidnapped by a
car matching the exact description of the one that had stopped.
