Tienes razon. But even so, the principle of the Fediverse is that you can join any instance - big or small - and still be able to interact with any and all "instances" that are "federated" with it. So one of the problems is that, on Mastodon, everyone was joining mastodon.social and mastodon.online. But there's no reason to do so, really. That said, I do think that the temporary surge in the Fediverse will be short-lived.
